Terms and Conditions for your stay at Simply Canvas Reservations Upon reservation we ask a 50% down payment for which you receive an invoice after reservation. Your reservation is confirmed upon receiving the payment within two weeks after the invoice. The other 50% needs to be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival at Simply Canvas. Your reservation will be confirmed when we have received your down payment. When you do not keep up to these terms Simply Canvas reserves the right to cancel your reservation. Tent reservations Each and every tent is decorated in a different way with its own charm and within three different themes. As much as we can we try to take your wishes into account when you make your reservation. It may happen however that we have to give you another tent within another theme than wished for due to bookings in the weeks before and after. Credit cards We do not have chip and pin and credit card facilities. Cancellations It is always possible that you need to cancel your reservation and we understand this. We hope that you also understand the following rules regarding cancellations:
We advise you to take cancellation insurance. Bed linen and towels Within your stay of one week we will provide one time bed linen and twice towels. We kindly ask you not to use the towels at the swimming pool (please bring your own towels for this). When you need more bed linen or towels we will charge you €10 per change of bedding and €5 for towels. Extra bed, baby bed and chair For €25 per week we will provide you with a baby bed and chair (kindly reserve in advance) and €50 for an extra bed per week. Arrival and departure The tents will be ready for you on Saturday as from 16.00 and we ask you to leave on Saturday no later than 10.00. Of course you are welcome to use our lounge area outside these times (during workshops and retreats in the off season this might change). Deposit We don’t ask for a safety deposit but count on your kindness and honesty that when something is broken you will inform us and pay for the damage. Cleaning At the end of your stay we will prepare to receive the next guests with open arms. For this of course everything needs to be all in order and clean for them. Therefore we will charge you €45 cleaning costs for the tents and little gite and €75 for the large gite or entire holiday home. Smoking Our tents are no smoking. Also during dinner time we don’t allow smoking. An extra important note is to always be careful when you put out your cigarette. Our area is very dry during summer time and there is a danger for fire. Pets Bringing pets is upon request only. Music and sound It is not possible to play music out loud on our land, but of course you can listen as much as you want with your head phones. We also ask you to be aware of your surrounding and neighbours regarding sound. Swimming Pool The swimming pool is open from sunrise to sunset. There is no life guard on duty, there is an alarm present. The renter will take all precautions necessary to use the swimming pool carefully. Especially when the renter comes to have a holiday with young children you they have to watch over the children yourself when they are swimming. In case of an accident the owners cannot be hold responsible for any injury caused to the renter, their family or friends. Recycling We try to be aware as possible of our environment and hope you support us with this. Therefore we have a recycling area where you can put your plastic, paper, glass etc. We are happy to offer you a bag for grocery shopping if needed.
